At Seis Playas, we believe that hospitality can extend far beyond comfort and service—it can be a catalyst for community transformation. As a social purpose business, we are committed to using our platform and resources to uplift the communities we are part of, especially those facing the greatest economic hardships.
The Operation SPRING program is an effort to contribute to the wider community in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Our past partnerships include:
– supporting a teacher for the CEPIA Music programs
– providing access to our hotel’s salt water swimming pool for swim training hosted by Vamos Youth program (drowning is one of the top causes of childhood death in the region)
– providing hot meals and a teacher to kids in need to address literacy issues with Asociación Un Corazón Más Para Cristo
We are actively supporting Alimentando Corazones and their main project, “El Faro” Community Center, located in Barrio El Llanito Tamarindo, Guanacaste.
Our mission is rooted in supporting local nonprofit organizations that are leading the way in three vital areas: education, arts and culture, and health and wellness. We recognize that these pillars are essential to building strong, vibrant, and resilient communities—and we are honored to stand beside the organizations doing this important work every day.
We focus on empowering those who are already making a difference rather than starting our own programs. Through financial contributions, donated services, and the use of our event spaces, we help amplify the reach and impact of community-based initiatives. Our event center serves as a gathering place for workshops, fundraisers, performances, and wellness activities—creating a welcoming environment for collaboration, learning, and celebration.
We believe in partnership over spotlight, in amplifying voices rather than replacing them. Our role is to listen, support, and help sustain the momentum of those working on the front lines of social change.
